Karen began her career as an event planner in 1993, as a volunteer for a professional organization. She served on their Board of Directors, and contributed as their organizations Meeting Planner. Karen has had the opportunity to plan multiple events for this non-profit organization.
In May 2000, with 7 years of event planning experience under her belt, Karen decided to form her own event planning company and Gritton Productions, Inc. was born.. During the first few years, Gritton Productions served as an event coordinator to corporations, non-profit organizations, and professional groups. Over time, Gritton Productions, Inc. has grown to planning numerous events throughout the state and across the country.
Today, Karen has a reputation of excellence not only with her clients, but with her preferred vendors. Gritton Productions, Inc. has grown into a full-service event planning company involved in an array of special events including; product launches, concerts, fund raisers, political events, inaugural balls, retreats, book signings, board meetings, campus events and so much more.
Karen regularly plans events all over the country, and locally here in Delaware. Karen has been featured in Delaware Today and Meetings South Magazine.
