I have known and worked with Karen Gritton of Gritton Productions for over four years. In that time we
have collaborated on events such as: The American Heart Association and The Group Underwriters
Association.
Karen has always shown dependability and professionalism. Her attention to detail along with her
positive attitude makes it a pleasure to work with her. I look forward to our next event together.

I have known Karen Gritton of Gritton Productions for approximately 5 years. During that time I have
had the pleasure of working with her on the Annual Affair of the Heart. As Chairpersons for that event
my wife Linda and I took advantage of the years of meeting planning experience Karen had in our
dealings with the hotel where the event was held. Karen assisted in the negotiations of the contract
and managed the food and beverage functions for the event as well. We were able to enjoy the night
of the event and spend time with the many guests who attended without worry because Karen was
there to make sure every detail was attended to. This annual event continues to be the most popular
black tie event of Kent County and raises in excess of $100,000 each year for the American Heart
Association.
Because of her professionalism and work ethic I was pleased to recommend Karen to the Governor’s
Inaugural Committee to assist with Governor Ruth Ann Minner’s Inaugural Ball. This event went off
without a hitch and was attended by over 1,000 people.
Building strong relationships in business is critical; Karen Gritton and her firm have proven to be
reliable and professional. I highly recommend her firm for your special event planning needs.
Very truly yours,

Ms. Karen Gritton of Gritton Production, Inc. has been a pleasure to work with over the past two years.
She has provided the University with outstanding professional decorating services during our 2006 &
2007 Homecoming festivities. This year, the President’s Tent was decorated using lighting effects in
the ceiling with fabric and twinkle lights wrapped around the tent poles. The overall effect was
spectacular especially during the evening hours. Everyone who visited the tent commented on how
impressive the decorations were. Ms. Gritton worked tirelessly with the Hospitality Committee from
start to finish. She’s all about making sure the customer is satisfied. We were overjoyed – she’s the
best! It is my hope that the University will continue to utilize her services and expertise in all our future
decorating plans.
Yours truly,
Cynthia Y. Williams, Chair
Hospitality Sub-Committee for Homecoming
